Radio Control/Remote Control Airplanes, Cars, Trucks, and Boats!
Are all RC Cars the same? No. Remote control cars are the type of RC Cars that have a wire attached between the remote control and the car, while radio control cars don't have a wire they instead operate using a radio frequencies. Remote Control cars are usually better for younger children (under 5 years of age) and radio control cars for older children and adults. If you wish to race multiple Radio control cars they must operate on different frequencies, some manufacturers (such as HPI and Nikko) offer sub-frequencies (you can run up to 3 cars one main frequency) which allow up to 6 cars to race at one time, other manufacturers usually offer 2 frequencies (27MHz & 49MHz). Remote control cars don't have this problem since they don't use frequencies. Some people refer to RC airplanes as Remote Control airplanes but there are no remote control airplanes which actually fly. Airplanes that fly are always radio control airplanes. There are remote control airplanes but they simply run around on ground like rc cars and are desgined for younger children. RC cars are a great way spend a Sunday with the kids.
